Bosses left Stunned, by kind gesture of staff.

A year of COVID has been hard on everyone but the staff at Platinum Property Agent (#teamplatinum) in Worcester and Malvern wanted to show their appreciation to company directors' Rob Price and Gareth Evans Taking on the challenges and keeping everybody safe. The 20 employees clubbed together to buy some special gifts to say a heartfelt Thank You!

Running a small company is a challenge in normal times but over the last year COVID has forced every business to adapt and to face up to enormous disruptions. This has affected every member of our staff, with some staff being initially furloughed, increased workload for those who were retained and isolation for those working from home.

Platinum has remained working throughout to support landlords and vendors to navigate the avalanche of government announcements and to support tenants with financial concerns or maintenance requests. In recognition of #teamplatinum’s hard work Rob and Gareth bought every member of staff a Christmas hamper of local produce from Clive's Fruit Farm.

In preparation for a post lockdown world, the company has undertaken a restructure and reviewed every process in the business which has meant that we have started 2021 with a growth in property sales, rentals, and mortgage completions. The staff felt that they wanted to let Rob Price and Gareth Evans know that they appreciated their contribution, positivity and protecting their jobs.

After talking to their respective wives they organised personal gifts of Barbourne cider and a years’ membership of the Midland Automobile Club, based at Shelsley Walsh, for Gareth and a mountain bikers Fox shirt and luxury break for Rob.

Cider drinking petrol head Gareth said, “I don’t know what to say, it was a complete surprise.”
Keen Malvern Mountain Biker Rob added “We thought we were going to have a staff meeting, then to be presented with these gifts was unexpected but also very touching. We have always tried to maintain a friendly working atmosphere at Platinum, and we are lucky to have such a committed team of people to work with.

Gareth and I have worked many 7 day weeks since the first lockdown and it is so nice to know our staff have appreciated our contribution and to be recognised in such a heartfelt manner. Thank you Team Platinum."
